The Decemberists have recorded a total of four albums in five years with their latest being their major label debut (The Crane Wife, released by Capitol Records). The four albums in order of release are Castaways and Cutouts (2002, re-released 2003), Her Majesty (2003), Picareque (2005), and The Crane Wife (2006).
